‘The City of Skyscrapers’, Chicago’s architecture is second to none, and the 10-story Crowne Plaza Hotel Chicago-The Silversmith, is no exception. Designed by the celebrated firm of D.H. Burnham and Company, the exterior features upper floors of red brick and unglazed terra cotta, while the lower floors are clad in dark green highly glazed terra cotta.
