The Dolphin's Guest House is centrally situated in Stanley on a level site easily accessible to shops, businesses and restaurants. The building itself was constructed in 1863 of stone and was originally used as a Public House known as the Persevering Hotel. Since those early days the building has had several changes of business including a bakery and also tea rooms. More recently the building has had a major refurbishment programme to raise the standard of the accommodation. The lounge has satellite television and bar facilities. There is a dining room and conservatory, where morning coffee, afternoon teas and light lunches are served to residents and non residents.
